HISTORY

MCA has been running a successful Permaculture garden at the school and has been involved in Permaculture for the past 8 years. MCA came second in the Emerging category of the Eduplant Permaculture competition in 2000, and has regularly been the KwaZulu Natal Winners. MCA achieved the FIRST PLACE position of the Advanced category in 2002 and 2006 and also received the National Landcare prize for Community Outreach.

To empower communities to become self sufficient in growing essential plants.
 
  TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER  
1. MCA learners gained valuable life skills through our Permaculture Technology and Training  
  2. MCA was instrumental in assisting the establishment of Permaculture Gardens in 35 rural schools in the past
